Rogue Valley Prescribed Burn Association is made up of community members just like you.
Who
We’re a mix of people interested in good fire. Some of us are professional firefighters. Many of us aren’t. Some of us are landowners. Many of us aren’t. Some of us are interested in habitat restoration, some of us are focused on fuel reduction. We are all local community members interested in using prescribed fire together, to help each other achieve our diverse goals.
What
Rogue Valley Prescribed Burn Association is a community group dedicated to building and sharing community resources to support prescribed burns. Prescribed Burn Associations are a way to pool resources and knowledge, so that individual land owners can access the equipment, personnel, skills, and knowledge to conduct prescribed burns in order to achieve their land management goals.
Where
The Rogue Valley PBA is one of over 50 prescribed burn associations in the US, and the first in Oregon. We have members throughout the Rogue basin of beautiful Southern Oregon, including Ashland, Medford, Grants Pass, Selma, Cave Junction, and the surrounding areas.
